DNA Sample Drop-off:

February 2023 Update! We are excited to announce that we are once again receiving samples M-F at all drop-off locations. Please see specifics below:

We are receiving DNA sequencing and fragment analysis samples Monday through Friday during specific drop-off times. Runs and turn-around time on data will vary, depending on sample volume. Current turn-around time is approximately 1-2 days, depending on the service.

DNA Sample Drop-Off Schedule:

• Storer Hall: Monday - Friday until 12pm in the envelope taped to the front doors of the building or in the basket outside the lab at 0208 Storer Hall
• VM3B Annex: Monday - Friday until 11am (if you want samples set up same day) or any day Monday-Friday during business hours
• UCDMC: Monday - Friday (by request only) at 1106 Research I 

If this schedule does not work for you, please contact us at DNADivas@ucdavis.edu and we will arrange another time for you to drop off your samples.

DNA Sample Drop-off Instructions:

• Storer Hall:  Place your samples in a clean Ziploc with your order number on it and drop them off in the envelope on the front door of the building or in the basket outside our lab during our scheduled drop-off times Monday - Friday before 12pm.
• VM3B Annex: The door is unlocked now during business hours Monday - Friday so you may drop samples off on any day of the week. Please fill out a drop-off form and place the form and your samples in one of the drop-off boxes then move the box to the top shelf. 
• UCDMC: Key card access is required for access to Research I. 

**If you have a 96-well plate or fragment analysis samples, you can drop off your samples in the basket outside the lab.
